The Barnett School
This stone was laid by Her Majesty, Queen Mary, on Wednesday October 23 1918.
This is the foundation stone for the second wing of the Institute. She returned on 31 May 1924 to open the Institute.
NW11, Central Square
The school was founded by Henrietta Barnett. Lutyens designed the elevations for Crewe Hall, the central block.
