Covid 19 pandemic

Also called Coronavirus. The general consensus is that the pandemic originated in Wuhan, China.

A was initiated 2021 by the Marie Curie charity, to be held every year on the first Sunday of March, though in 2025 some events took place on the 9th so we are now uncertain.

2026: Professor David Tollerton of the University of Exeter published the book: 'Remembering and Forgetting Britain’s COVID-19 Pandemic'.  quotes the Professor, discussing the variety of memorials that have been erected, ".. future events – notably the next major pandemic – may breathe new life into their purpose."
