Gustavus Loehr

Mining engineer and co-founder of Rotary International. Born in Carlinville, Illinois. He moved to Chicago, where he met Paul Harris, Silvester Schiele and Hiram Shorey, and on the 23rd February 1905, hosted the first Rotary meeting.
