Indian army officer. Born Ceylon, the son of an army officer. Also served in China and Abyssinia. Field Marshal and Constable of the Tower of London. Died at home 63 Eaton Square.
Not as far as we know related to the other en-statued Napier, General Sir Charles James Napier.

Naval officer.  Born Dorset.  Present on Nelson's ship at the Battle of Trafalgar.  This is the Hardy of "Kiss me, Hardy" fame.  Governor of Greenwich Hospital, 1834 until his death.
