Sir Bruce Forsyth CBE, 1929 - 2017. Bruce's ashes were laid to rest here by his beloved wife Wilnelia and children Debbie, Julia, Laura, Charlotte, Louisa and JJ.
On the stage above, in 1958, Bruce first hosted Sunday Night at the London Palladium and, in 2015, he performed his One Man Show for the very last time, book-ending a career that spanned eight decades.
Without question the UK's greatest entertainer, he rests in peace within the sound of music, laughter and dancing... exactly where he would want to be.
Exactly a year after he died, Forsyth's ashes were laid to rest under the stage at the London Palladium in a private ceremony, and a blue plaque was erected on the wall there. The text of the plaque comes from the .

2024: has been on the tour of the building and was allowed "...around the basement underneath the stage to see a little bit of the back-of-house space and the three plaques where the ashes of Des O’Connor {entertainer, d.2020}, Bruce Forsyth, and Billy Marsh {theatrical agent, d.1995} were interred."

The Vaughan, Grade, Centenary and Crosby plaques are all in the foyer area. The Forsyth plaque is, we understand, under the stage. And the Tommy Steele plaque? When we visited in November 2023 we were told that it is in the bar area, access to which requires a ticket.
