Site: Hitchcock birth place (2 memorials)

E11, Leytonstone High Road, 517, Jet petrol station

To the left, just out of view of our camera there is a petrol station. This is where the Hitchcock family greengrocers used to stand and where Alfred was born. The plaque is affixed to the back wall of the forecourt.

On the pavement, about where the man is walking, there are a number of black birds inlaid into the flags.
